Roi Shternin is a keynote speaker and author based in Vienna. His last ambulance shift was the call that came in for him. He was 22 and had been a member of Magen David Adom, Israel's national ambulance service, since he was a teenager. The doctors who met him at the door were friends. Twenty minutes later he was a patient. Almost seven years in bed followed, then relapses and two and a half years of rehabilitation: almost a decade in all. He has collected diagnoses, twenty-something by now. POTS is one of them. Since then he has given more than 200 keynotes, written books, including Chronically Speaking, and built several ventures. He is faculty at IMC Krems, a Dell Precision Ambassador, and on the board of the Ruth Vrobel Foundation in Israel. Keynotes and workshops are booked through A-Speakers, or by writing to him directly.
