The formal role of Patient-in-Residence — a patient placed inside an institution not as a subject, but as a strategic voice — barely existed when I started. I've now held it at four institutions across three countries. The first time, I built the role from scratch.

First-ever Patient in Residence and Patient Innovation Manager at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Digital Health & Patient Safety — Austria's national health research institute. Built the role from scratch. Led three major initiatives: a national policy framework for patient involvement in research, a patient media strategy, and "Ludwig" — a companion app for cancer patients co-developed with IBM.

Clinical workflow automation and EMR data integration — cloud-based solution automating visit planning and documentation for in-person and telemedicine. Acquired by Anodyne Health.

Dysautonomia Israel
Founded the Israeli Society for POTS and Dysautonomia. Transformed a five-year diagnostic gap with no healthcare recognition into a nationally recognised diagnosis, research, and rehabilitation program. Partnered with Sheba Medical Center to establish the national dysautonomia centre.

Non-profit equipping underprivileged youth with life-saving skills globally. 10,000+ young people trained across programmes in Kathmandu, Shanghai, and Tel Aviv — teaching emergency response and life preservation beyond basic first aid.
